ACROSS THE HIGHWAY FROM THE LOWER DESCHUTES RIVER NEAR MADRAS, OREGON!
Come camp and enjoy our park like setting with manicured lawns and gorgeous shade trees all within sight of the river and minutes to the boat ramp and river! Our ten acre park has a combination of RV sites and tent camping. The camp is safe, secure, and makes for a scenic and convenient base camp when fishing or floating the river or traveling to or from Central Oregon!
RV and Tent Camping
We have a good variety of RV and tent camping sites at the camp. Including nineteen newly developed RV sites with a mix of pull through, back in and pull in sites. With 20,30 & 50 amp electric pedestals at each site plus water, picnic tables, and fire pits. A half dozen of the sites even have sewer hook ups. The new RV park is to the north of the fly shop in the shade of the rows of Elm trees. All the sites have great territorial views of the river canyon and river!
We also have our 15 original sites on the lawns designated for tent campers, small pop ups, vans, and single axle trailers under 20′
Four sites even have 20/30 amp power hook ups, which is great for vans, cab overs, and small trailers! The rest have access to potable water, fire pits, tables and shade trees.
The Group flat, dry camp area can handle larger groups at each site. The whole flat can be reserved for larger parties as well. Please call ahead of time to reserve the whole Group Flat for your party!
Reservations & Check-In
We prefer all reservations to be made online and ahead of your arrival. Please click on one of the reservations buttons or click here to reserve online. If you are un-able to reserve online or are having difficulties feel free to give us a ring and we will be happy assist you over the phone.
- After hours check-ins must find their spot on their own. Please refer to the campground map to find your site!
- The RV and tent sites are reserved by site number. There are RV size restrictions for a few sites, all sites can accommodate 1 vehicle not including the RV (usually the tow or tow behind vehicle.) Extra vehicles are $10 per vehicle/per night. Please note: There are no tents allowed in the RV sites. If part of your party is tent camping they need to reserve a dry camp spot.
- The dry camping spots accommodate up to 4 people per site + 1 vehicle.
- The Group Flat sites can accommodate up to 6-7 people per site + 2 vehicles. Extra vehicles are $10 per vehicle/per night additional.
- RV & camping reservations require full payment up front.
- The entry gate is some times closed in the evenings between 10PM-7:00 AM especially during slower times. If you find the gate locked please refer to your reservation for the gate code. Please leave the gate how you found it.
Campground Rules
~ 5 MPH speed limit
~ 11:00 AM Check-out, 1 PM Check-In
~ Spots must be reserved prior or within 30 min. of arrival
~ Quite Hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
~ Pets must be kept on a leash at all times
~ Please clean up after your pet!
~ Fires in designated fire rings only
~ Obey Seasonal fire restrictions, no harvesting of firewood on the grounds
~ No open carry firearms or fireworks!
Additionally… Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, illegal drugs, obscene language, obnoxious, disruptive or vulgar or illegal behavior will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to refuse service without refund.
CANCELLATION POLICY – Please Note: Cancellations will be refunded up to 48 hours of the reservation date, no refunds for cancellations with in 48 hours of check in time. All other cancellations will be refunded, minus a 20% process fee. No refunds for early check outs.
Deluxe RV Site
These are the premiere RV sites. Most are long enough to accommodate Class A’s, and have full hook ups and the best amenities. All have views of the river and room to stretch out a bit!
Standard RV Sites
These are a variety of pull in, back in, and pull through sites with 20/30/50 amp plug, fire pits, a table, and views of the river. Some of the sites have septic hook ups, some do not.. but they all are nice!
Dry Camp W/ Electric
There are four electrical plug in/dry camp spots on the lawns. Flat 1, site 1 & 4, and Flat 2 sites 5 & 8. These spots are great for small vans, cab-over pick ups, and single axle trailers under 20′ feet only. Park right on the lawns and have great shade plus power and water!
Dry Camp Site
Come tent camp on our beautiful manicured lawns, under shade trees with views of the river! The lawn areas are great for tent and car camping! Safe, scenic, and secure… a great home base for fishing the Deschutes, or laying over when traveling through Central Oregon.
