Our onsite vacation rentals makes for a great base camp!
Currently we have two nightly cabin rentals at the Deschutes River Fly Shop and Camp. Both are in our duplex cabin building across the road from the fly shop. Both units have views of the river and camp but are private and separate from the main camping areas and RV park. The cabins make a great home base when fishing and floating the Deschutes River or when taking a guide trip or lesson. Being just minutes to the river, the Warm Springs boat ramp and Mecca Flats! You could throw a rock and hit the fly shop from the cabins (please don’t) so you can’t get any closer to the meet spot the morning of your guide trip or lesson! They also make for a great home base when just exploring the area on your own or traveling through.
The Details...
These 2 bedroom units can accommodate up to 4-5 people. Both have a fully stocked kitchen with a coffee maker, microwave, pots, pans, plates & utensils, and everything else you need to chef it up.. including gas BBQ’s. There is air conditioning for those hot days and nights, and also satellite dish tv’s, hot showers and wifi.
As far as beds go, each unit has two single beds, and a double or queen bed and fold out couches. Each unit is fully furnished with towels and linens. There are also outdoor hang out areas with fire pits and seating to enjoy the beautiful evenings at camp. Fires are allowed during during the spring and fall, though there are fire restrictions in summer. Firewood is available for sale at the fly shop. Please check with the fly shop in regards to burn bans.

A deposit of half is due at the time of booking, with the remainder due at the time of check in. Please check in at the fly shop.
Check-in & After Hour Check-ins: Check in is 3:00 PM, but If you will be arriving after the fly shop closes typically 5 pm, then you will have to check yourself in. Please refer to the map on the website or when you first come into the camp to find your unit. Ideally call us ahead of time to let us know you will be arriving later. Typically we just leave the door unlocked and light on. Come to the fly shop first thing in morning the following day to check in officially and pay the remainder due. We can also put the remainder due on the card on file if you will be arriving late, and leaving early.
Checking out: Check out time is 11:00 AM, at the time of check out, please remove all garbage and recycle and deposit in the dumpster and recycle bins on the east side of the fly shop. Please wash all dishes and leave in the drying rack. Leave door unlocked and the key where you found it on the table. If you can, swing on through the fly shop to say good bye!
Cancellation Policy: Any cancellation within 30 days, you forfeit half your deposit, any cancellation within 14 days you lose your deposit, any cancellation within 7 days you lose your deposit plus can be charged half of the remainder due. If you cancel within 48 hours of your check in date, you will be billed for the total amount due for your stay.
Extra Vehicle Policy: Two vehicles per cabin unit are included in your rental rate, Extra vehicles are $10.00 per vehicle/per night.
Dog Policy: Dogs are allowed, with a pet fee of $15.00 per pet/per night (2 pets max). Owners are responsible for any damages or wear and tear to the cabin as a result of your pets. Please clean up after you pet on the grounds.

River View Cabin Rental
One of two nightly cabin rentals at the Deschutes River Fly Shop and Camp. This unit is on the west side of the duplex cabin building, with great views of the river and camp from the front door, covered porch and fire pit area! A 2 bedroom, fully furnished unit that can accommodate up to 4 people!
Book Now...Camp/Cabin Rules ~
1. Smoking is not allowed in the cabins. (A $150.00 fee will be assessed if it has been determined that smoking has occurred in the unit)
2. No wading boots allowed in the cabin.
3. 5 MPH Speed limit through out camp.
4. Gate Code: The gate is closed in the evenings during slower times at the camp between the hours of 10:00 PM and 7:00 Am. If you will be coming and going before or after please check in with the fly shop for the current gate code. Please lock the gate behind you if you find it closed.
5. Wifi – There is wifi available at the fly shop, and you can receive signal depending on device at the cabins. Wifi code is “flyfishdeschutes”
6. People other than those in the “Guest” party may not stay overnight in the cabin. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit of the units.
7. Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors and other campers; we want you to have a good time, but not everyone in camp may love Van Halen as much as you do, especially if they are planning getting up early to hit the river!
Camp Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m.– 7:00 a.m.
8. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Please do not move any of the furniture or furnishings.
9. Please let the “Management” know immediately upon check in if the unit is dirty or unclean or if there is any pre existing damage to the unit.
10. Only use appliances for their intended uses.
11. PETS are permitted only with prior approval of management and a pet fee paid.
12. Guests must clean up after their pets.|
13. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. Do not take towels, linens or any other utensils or the such from the units.
14. Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the proper garbage or recycling receptacles provided in the cabin then deposited in the dumpster located at the side of the fly shop and store at the time of check out.
15. Dishes: Please do all your dishes and leave to dry in the drying rack when you check out.
16. Water and Septic: The cabin/property is on a well and septic systems. The mineral content can be high. During a drought, the well water may have an odor. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it found that you flushed and clog the septic system with something not supposed to be flushed, you could be held liable for damages.
17. Check Out Time is 11:00 AM, Check In Time is 3:00 PM
“Management” reserves the right to asses additional cleaning charges and additional fee’s if the cabin has been deemed by management to be left in an unnecessarily dirty or disheveled state or if the unit has been “smoked in” of if any furnishings have been “lost” or stolen. Any damages will be the responsibility of the “Guest”. Management has the right to refuse service without refund if it has been deemed by management that guests have be in violation of the camp/cabin rules.
Egregious violations will resort in immediate eviction from the unit and property and other possible actions.
