With lots of on the job training for the qualified applicants, and for those that have RV’s or similar the ability to stay on the property seasonally for cheap!
Fishing Manager/Camp Host
We are looking for someone to help manage and lead our fishing program. This is a good opportunity for someone who has good guide and retail experience. Who wants a hand in the management side of the operation. Skills in marketing, computers, booking, guiding, retail, etc. would all be considered valuable. Ideally hires would have interest in living at the camp seasonally at the very least. And have a trailer or willing to pu, in exchange for a free rv site. Competitive wages and and profit sharing options for qualified hire.
Fly Fishing Guides
We are looking to add to our guide staff for the 2025 season. Both day and camp trip guides needed. Guides need to have their own solid drift boats and dependable vehicles with experience fishing and boating on the Deschutes or similar. Guide experience preferred, though we will train the right candidates that have the other qualifications needed (Lots of fishing & boating experience)
Upon hiring and before working guides will need to provide valid first aid & CPR and acquire a current OSMB Guide License. (We can help with this)
Retails Sales
We are looking for a retail sales manager. This person will be mainly working in fly shop and deli, facilitating guide trips, helping fly shop customers, ordering/restocking, and helping in our general store and deli. Any anything else that needs to be done to keep the ship a float. You will never be board doing this job!
Experience with retail, food, lodging and hospitality, all are skills that would help you qualify. Plus a good knowledge of fly fishing and fishing the Deschutes!
If one or all of these positions appeal to you…awesome! Typical hires wear more than one hat with us. And can be offered full time seasonal jobs because of their ability to help with more than one aspect of the operation. For example if you want to get into guiding but have limited experience, we start you in the shop, where you can get some hands on training helping with classes and daily operations. Or when not guiding work the shop to fill out the work week.
